Each year, the Catholic Church in the United States celebrates National Vocation Awareness Week, which in 2025 will take place from November 2 to 8. This is a sacred opportunity for our Eparchy to renew our prayer and our commitment to promote vocations to the priesthood, religious life, marriage, and the generous single life.

The Maronite Servants of Christ the Light will host another Come & See Retreat Weekend for single young adult women (ages 18 to 39), October 31 to November 2, 2025 at their Mother of the Light Convent, 856 Tucker Rd, Dartmouth MA.

Bishop Gregory will lead a discussion on the meaning of the Betrothal and Crowning Ceremonies in our Church, and why the concept of Covenant is so important.

May God grant eternal rest to his faithful servant and priest, Fr. Naji Kiwan. Born in Freidis, Lebanon on December 12, 1972, he was the son of Jalil and Chalabieh (Haddad) Kiwan. Fr. Naji is predeceased by his mother Chalabieh, and survived by his father, Jalil, his brother Michel, and sisters Nisrine and Karine.

There is an upcoming Workshop led by Fr. Neemtallah Oneissy on Maronite Music. We hope you can encourage your choir members and interested parishioners to join in this Workshop.

Chorbishop Joseph Lahoud entered peacefully into eternal life on July 16, 2025, after a long life of service and dedication to the Church and her people. May God grant eternal rest to his faithful servant and priest.

Are you looking to deepen your faith and connect with other like-minded young adults from your culture and faith? Join our MYA family September 19-21,2025 at the Sonesta Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, PA. The theme will focus on a journey into faith, purpose, and belonging. The conference will include meals, breakouts, adoration, confession, fellowship and more. 

All of us have a role to play in planting the seeds of vocations as we build up the Body of Christ together. Please continue to speak about vocations and ask young people to pray for their vocations. Help them to ask themselves, how God might be calling them to serve.

All Maronite parish music directors, choir members, and anyone who loves music are invited to attend the 2025 Maronite Music Workshop at the Saint Sharbel Spiritual Life Center August 12-13, 2025 led by Fr. Neemtallah (Edgard) Oneissy.

Pope Francis has shown the world the face of that Merciful Father by every word and gesture of his Pontificate. He has taught us that we are all welcome in the Father’s house. May our Holy Father now enjoy that embrace of our Heavenly Father, and may he rest in peace.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis. A shepherd of compassion, humility, and profound faith, he returned to the Father this morning.

May his soul rest in the peace of Christ whom he served so faithfully.
