Dear Brother Priests, Deacons/Subdeacons, Consecrated Men and Women, Lay Faithful,
As mentioned at our recent Clergy Conference Sister Emily Mary will be making her Perpetual Profession of Vows on December 7 at 7pm at Our Lady of Purgatory Church in New Bedford, MA. This is a joyous day for Sister Emily Mary, her sisters and our Church, as she espouses herself to Jesus forever as bride and a spiritual mother in service to God’s people. Please print, display on your bulletin board, and share this attached Save The Date flyer with your parishioners and young adults, and please keep sister in your prayers as she prepares for this special day.
I also ask your help in promoting the vocation and mission of the Sisters. Please announce and share with your parishioners an upcoming Vocation Event via Zoom open to single women (ages 18-39) on Sunday August 23 at 7pm. See attached flyer. This will be an information session about the Sisters and their prayer life and mission in our Church.
Here is the registration link for women planning to join this Vocation event: https://forms.gle/YXiyqRMfErBURH82A
The Sisters are happy to accompany women as they discern God’s will for their lives. They plan to host a new discernment series beginning in September on the 14 Rules of Discernment as given by Saint Ignatius, and to offer a Come and See retreat weekend for those women interested in visiting and praying with the Sisters.
Please reach out to Sr. Therese Maria, Vocations Director, at vocations@maroniteservants.org if you have any questions or know any young adult women seeking guidance and resources to explore God’s call. To learn about the Sisters, visit their website: maroniteservants.org.
Thank you for your support and prayers for our Sisters.
+Gregory
