The Eparchy of Saint Maron of Brooklyn, whose shepherd is Bishop Gregory John Mansour, STL, comprises forty-five parishes and missions; Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Seminary in Washington, DC; Mother of the Light Convent, Dartmouth MA; the Most Holy Trinity Monastery, Petersham, MA; and the Saint Sharbel Spiritual Life Center, Pittsburgh, PA.

This year's Benefit Dinner will be held at The Metropolitan Club in Manhattan where we will honor the significant contributions of Roukos and Tacla Jacobs, Rita Makhlouf Kanaan, and Roger Shammas.

Bishop Gregory Mansour and Bishop A. Elias Zaidan encourage all Lebanese citizens to sign up for the upcoming 2026 Lebanese Elections.
In the coming 2026 Lebanese election, Lebanese citizens living abroad will only be allowed to vote for 6 parliamentary seats instead of the full 128 parliamentary seats like those living in Lebanon.
Each year, the Catholic Church in the United States celebrates National Vocation Awareness Week, which in 2025 will take place from November 2 to 8. This is a sacred opportunity for our Eparchy to renew our prayer and our commitment to promote vocations to the priesthood, religious life, marriage, and the generous single life.

The Maronite Servants of Christ the Light will host another Come & See Retreat Weekend for single young adult women (ages 18 to 39), October 31 to November 2, 2025 at their Mother of the Light Convent, 856 Tucker Rd, Dartmouth MA.
Bishop Gregory will lead a discussion on the meaning of the Betrothal and Crowning Ceremonies in our Church, and why the concept of Covenant is so important.

October is the month of the Most Holy Rosary. Pope Leo XIV has asked Catholics to pray the rosary each day in October for peace. See your local parish for prayer groups. You can join Fr. Vincent Farhat on Thursdays at 5pm on Zoom.
The Maronite Servants of Christ the Light will be hosting an online Maronite Faith Formation Series on the Syriac Language starting Thursday October 30 through the Saint Sharbel Center to help our people to learn more about the beauty and richness of our Maronite Liturgical language.

It is with deep sorrow that I share the news of the passing of our beloved friend and community member, Ed Shiner.
Our Eparchy has recently renewed our Offices for Maronite Youth and Young Adults. Their mission is to provide support and resources to assist pastors and youth leaders in journeying with their teens and young adults, bringing them closer to Christ, and helping to form them as intentional disciples.
