The Maronite Bishops of the United States, Bishop Gregory Mansour and Bishop Elias Zaidan, call for peace across the Middle East, emphasizing that those suffering in the midst of conflict, are not fighting this war, they are its victims.
Bishop Elias Zaidan, Eparch of Our Lady of Lebanon of Los Angeles, has issued a statement through the USCCB (U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops), regarding the war in Iran and troubles in Lebanon.

WASHINGTON - “As the United States seeks a negotiated end to the war in Iran, I call on President Trump and the international community to ensure that the people of Lebanon receive greater access to humanitarian assistance, including food and medical supplies, especially in the south,” said Bishop A. Elias Zaidan, chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on International Justice and Peace.
