Dear Brother Priests, Deacons/Subdeacons, Consecrated Men and Women:
We received the sad news that Mr. Melhem Moussa Hanna, Father of Monsignor Dominique Hanna passed away peacefully in his home in Douar, Lebanon.
The Funeral was held Saturday, May 17, 2026 in Church of Mar Antonius el Kabir in Douar, Lebanon.
Mr. Hanna is survived by his wife, Afife Boutros, as well as the following children: Moussa, Rudy, Roula and Monsignor Dominique. He is also the Uncle of Chorbishop Alfred Badawi.

Our heartfelt condolences to Monsignor Dominique, Chorbishop Alfred and the entire family. This is a great loss for Monsignor. Our hearts go out to him at this time. May his father rest in God's peace.
