Dear Friend in Christ,
I would like to ask you to consider helping Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Seminary.
The Seminary is located near Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. Since its establishment in 1961, over 80 men who graduated from the Seminary have been ordained priests to serve in parishes throughout the United States, including two bishops. At the Seminary, seminarians receive their spiritual formation and study Maronite traditions, liturgy, and the Syriac language, the language that Jesus spoke so that they can pronounce the words of Consecration during the Maronite Liturgy. The seminarians attend classes at Catholic University of America with their Roman Catholic and Eastern Catholic brothers. Several popes have expressed the importance of Eastern Catholics keeping their traditions alive, including Pope Leo XIV who said, “It is vital then, that you preserve your traditions without attenuating them…”
Currently, the Seminary needs several renovations. The costs to repair the roof, exterior brick work, chapel and second and third floor add up to $130,000. The kitchen and other parts of the building will cost another $170,000. We pray and hope to raise $300,000 to complete the renovations.
Would you please consider helping our Seminary with a generous gift today? You may make your donation by clicking on the button below or make your check payable to Eparchy of Saint Maron of Brooklyn and mail it to 109 Remsen Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201.
Thank you for considering my request to help. May God bless you for your support.
Gratefully yours in Christ,
+ Gregory John Mansour
